The RaspiBlitz is designed to be a very secure routing node. Therefore it does not use Docker or any insecure JavaScript libraries. In the near future it will also be possible to earn Satoshis for providing liquidity to the Lightning Network via Lightning Pool.

Why do I absolutely need a RaspiBlitz?

RaspiBlitz is the safest and cheapest way to run your own Bitcoin and Lightning Node. And the perk being you can claim to have built your own bank.
Become part of the fast-growing Bitcoin Lightning Network with the DIY Node RaspiBlitz. The RaspiBlitz is a fully operating Bitcoin and Lightning Network Node. It has its own customized open source operating system, developed by the legendary Christian Rotzoll. (@rootzoll)
The RaspiBlitz is the perfect solution if you want to run your own node with a few channels to the Lightning Network.
After assembling it and setting it up, you will be able to rout payments through the Lightning Network and even earn money while doing it. You can set your own fee policy for routed payments.
There is also a very detailed user manual so you don’t have to fret over setting everything up. All you need is basic technical understanding of rocket science. Just kidding! Knowledge of basic terminal usage is enough.
But be rest assured: once you are done, you will feel very proud for having created and assembled your own bank which can cater to your friends and family.
